About Grant and Kathy
Dr Grant Mullen graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School, and became an anesthetist, and every afternoon when the OR’s were closed, was also a General Practitioner. As a GP he began talking to people and find out what was bothering them. He then discovered that a very large percentage of his patients, including the Christians, were suffering from emotional pain rather than the physical pain that he was trained to treat. Dr Grant Mullen then began learning about emotions and mental health so that he could help these patients. Initially, he began treating depression, anxiety and mood swings. These were the most common mood disorders. There was so much misunderstanding about psychiatry and mental health in the Christian world that Dr Grant Mullen wrote and filmed “Moods” to help Christians understand what was going on in their thoughts and when they needed to see a doctor. He also wrote “Healthy Moods” to help non Christians understand mood disorders. At that point in his life he discovered through his own healing journey, that emotional baggage and spiritual conflict can greatly affect our moods and relationships. Based on his experiences, he wrote the book “Emotionally Free.” For many years now he and his wife Kathy have been holding seminars internationally to teach people how to improve their lives by improving their relationships.
